Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Clinically diagnosed patient of Shukla Arma ( Non-Progressive Pterygium) encroaching upto the cornea.
Exclusion Criteria
- •A person with age below 30 years
- •A person with age above 70 years
- •Progressive pterygium
- •Prastari Arma, Lohita Arma, Adhimamsa Arma, Snayu Arma
- •Anjana Ayogya
- •Nasya Ayogya
- •The patient in which Pterygium covers the pupillary margin
- •Any other inflammatory diseases of eye
- •Pseudopterygium
- •Chemical injury e.g., Lime burn or any other
- •Chronic viral infections
- •e.g., Hepatitis C,
- •Neurological conditions:
- •e.g., Parkinson disease,
- •Bellâ??s palsy,
- •Trigeminal neuralgia
- •Systemic exclusion :
- •Immunological diseases â?? Autoimmune disease, collagen vascular and immunodeficiency.
- •Diabetes mellitus
- •Hyperlipidaemia
- •Hypertension
