Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Clinically diagnosed patient of Shukla Arma ( Non-Progressive Pterygium) encroaching upto the cornea.

Exclusion Criteria

  • A person with age below 30 years
  • A person with age above 70 years
  • Progressive pterygium
  • Prastari Arma, Lohita Arma, Adhimamsa Arma, Snayu Arma
  • Anjana Ayogya
  • Nasya Ayogya
  • The patient in which Pterygium covers the pupillary margin
  • Any other inflammatory diseases of eye
  • Pseudopterygium
  • Chemical injury e.g., Lime burn or any other
  • Chronic viral infections
  • e.g., Hepatitis C,
  • Neurological conditions:
  • e.g., Parkinson disease,
  • Bellâ??s palsy,
  • Trigeminal neuralgia
  • Systemic exclusion :
  • Immunological diseases â?? Autoimmune disease, collagen vascular and immunodeficiency.
  • Diabetes mellitus
  • Hyperlipidaemia
  • Hypertension
