51 CFHN services, located across 7 sectors (Tablelands, Peel, Mehi, Lower Mid North Coast, Maitland/Lower Hunter, Hunter Valley and Greater Newcastle) of the Hunter New England local health district of New South Wales Australia will be eligible for implementing the scale-up of HB4HNEKids .
These services offer care to approximately 10,000 new families each year. Parents are eligible if they own a mobile phone, and are eligible for CFHN appointments provided by the 51 CFHN services mentioned above.
Families that are not eligible for standard CFHN care will be excluded.

Name Time Method Reach of HB4HNEKids. [The number of parents receiving HB4HNEKids divided by the number of parents eligible for receiving HB4HNEKids according to electronic health service records. 4, 6, 12 and 18-months after commencement of the intervention. ];Representativeness of parents receiving HB4HNEKids.[Comparing the characteristics of the parents receiving HB4HNEKids via each model to those of the total sample of eligible parents referred to CFHN services over that period. Characteristics including parental age, geographic location, marital status, highest education, number of children and ethnicity will be obtained from electronic health service records. This outcome will be assessed as a composite primary outcome. Sample representativeness of parents receiving HB4HNEKids at baseline and those remaining engaged at 4, 6, 12 and 18-months after commencement of the intervention will be compared. ]
