Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •The inclusion criteria are as follow:
- •i) Adolescents age between 13 to 15 years old.
- •This age group was chosen in order to avoid the effects of a school program called Minda Sihat which is introduced to all 16 years old students (MOH, 2005\).
- •ii) Perceives as having stress (Perceived stress score 1 and above)
- •Study have shown that indicated prevention intervention in reducing stress had documented higher intervention effects as compared to universal prevention intervention (Puolakanaho, et al., 2019; Burckhardt, et al., 2016\). The perceived stress score of 1 and above indicates the presence of stress (Cohen, 1988\).
- •iii) Provided written parental consent.
- •iv) Malaysian citizen.
Exclusion Criteria
- •The exclusion criteria are as follow:
- •i) Currently enrolled in mental health treatment for stress or to cope with stressors
- •ii) Adolescents with a physical and psychological disabilities that may prevent from participating and understanding in the intervention modules.
