The study include the peri natal mothers who
ï?¶are attending antenatal clinic and plan to deliver a baby and follow up in a selected tertiary care hospital, Kelambakkam.
ï?¶are physically stable
ï?¶can read & understand Tamil
ï?¶are willing to participate in the study
B. The study include the neonates who
ï?¶are with the gestational age of more than 34 weeks
ï?¶are physically stable at the time of delivery (APGAR score- 8-10)
ï?¶are having birth weight of 2.5 kg or more .
A. The study excludes the peri natal mothers who
ï?¶are having complications during the perinatal period.
B. The study excludes the neonates who
ï?¶are with associated congenital anomalies, extreme preterm & very low birth weight babies.
ï?¶ are having APGAR less than 8.
ï?¶are having birth weight less than 2.5 kg
ï?¶ are under intensive care for therapeutic procedures.

Name Time Method helps to promote child survival by means of promoting growth status and reducing the morbidity & mortality rates of neonates. <br/ ><br>helps to reduces the economic burden of the family by the reducing morbidity rates. <br/ ><br> provide an empirical evidence. <br/ ><br> help other researchers to utilize the suggestions and recommendations for further study. <br/ ><br>provide evidence to conduct research on preparation of innovative methods of teaching and development of effective teaching material. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: neonates growth indicators & morbidity status and level of knowledge of perinatal mothers will be evaluated on 28th day of postnatal period.
