Inclusion Criteria

1. Patients above 18 years

2. Nasal obstruction due to mucosal hypertrophy of the inferior turbinates

3. Failure to respond to medical management with antihistamines and topical steroids

Exclusion Criteria

1. Patients below 18 years

2. Previous history of inferior turbinate surgery

3. Obstructive septal deviation on the same side

4. Hypertrophic adenoid, nasal polyps or tumors

5. Active sinonasal infection
