Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Subjects with moderate \-severe periodontitis with clinical attachment loss of \> 5 mm at 5 or more sites.
  • •2\.Having no systemic disease.
  • •3\.No periodontal therapy other than standard prophylaxis during the previous six months

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Any bacterial infection.
  • •2\.Those with diabetics
  • •3\.Pregnant women/ lactating mother.
  • •4\.Patients who were on antibiotic prophylaxis
  • •5\.Those who regularly use non\-steroidal anti\-inflammatory medication
  • •6\.Patients who smoke or chew any form of tobacco
