Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •All patients admitting in ICU with need of CVC access.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patient refusal.
  • •Derranged coagulation profile(INR \>1\.5\).
  • •Preexisting internal jugular catheter or indwelling subclavian device.
  • •Detection of internal jugular thrombosis or right atrial mass.
  • •Known SVC Syndrome.
  • •Inability to obtain adequate subcostal or apical four chamber images.
  • •Significant high acuity traumatic conditions.
