1. ASA Grade 1 and 2
2. Age between 18-60 years
3. Elective abdominal surgeries
4. Patients acceptance
1. Patient refusal
2. Age less than 18 and more than 60
3. ASA Grade 3 and 4
4. Patients posted for emergency surgeries
5. Patients with local infections at puncturing site
6. Patients with ischemic and rheumatic heart diseases
7. Patients with coagulation defects and patients on anti coagulants
8. Patients with neuromuscular disorders
9. Patients allergic to local anaesthetic drugs
10. Patient with known case of epilepsy, pregnancy, spine deformity and those who are not unable to understand the visual analogue score
