Ayurveda has number of preparations, herbs and kalpas that are useful in management. Sharadipanchmuladdya ghrut is also one of them which is available affordable, and easy to administrate.
The aim of my study is Evaluation of the Efficacy of Sharadipanchmuladdya Ghrut in Mutrashmari with Special Reference to Urolithiasis.
This research investigates the efficacy of Sharadipanchmuladdya Ghrut, a traditional Ayurvedic formulation, in the treatment of Mutrashmari (urolithiasis). Urolithiasis, characterized by the formation of urinary stones, is a prevalent condition that can cause severe discomfort and complications.The study involved a sample size of 70 patients, all diagnosed with urolithiasis, to evaluate the therapeutic effects of Sharadipanchmuladdya Ghrut in alleviating symptoms, reducing stone size, and improving overall renal function. Patients were divided into treatment and control groups, with the treatment group receiving Sharadipanchmuladdya Ghrut for a specified duration.

- 1)Patient with clinical features and USG showing Mutrashmari of size upto 10mm will be taken for treatment.
- 2)The patient will be selected irrespective of gender, religion, occupation,marital status.
- 3)Patients of the age in between 20-60 years.
- 4)Patients with known case of mutrashmari 5)Grade 1 hydronephrosis.
- 1)Patient with bleeding disorders – Immunoglobulin A,drug induced haematuria etc.
- 2)Malignant Disorders -Urethral malignancy or any suspected malignancy 3)Patients associated with disorders like Gout, Hyperthyroidism, Parathyroidism.
- 4)Patients with Immunocompromised disorders -Human immunodeficiency virus, Hepatitis B Surface Antigen, sexually transmitted disease 5)Case which required any other surgical intervention 6)Patient with mutrashmari with other urinary disorders like Chronic Urine retention, Pyelonephritis, BPH, glomerulonephritis, Nephropathy, Renal failure 7)Pregnant and lactating women 8)Patients with k/c/o hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus.

Name Time Method 1.To study in detail the literature about mutrashmari according to ayurvedic aspect. 2.To study urolithiasis in details according to modern aspect.
