Written consent of the participant, active employment in the Pius Hospital or active employment as a garbage collector in the city of Oldenburg, physical presence during the investigation period, age> 18 years, willingness to cooperate

Exclusion Criteria

Substitution of vitamin D medication, known intolerance to materials used for blood samples, termination of the employment, age < 18 years, illiteracy or lacking knowledge of German, lack of willingness to cooperate, withdrawal of the declaration of consent

Is the workplace a possible risk factor for a deficiency in vitamin D?<br><br>We plan to measure the vitamin D serum values ??of the employees of the Pius Hospital Oldenburg and the garbage collectors twice (January / February and August / September) and to use two questionnaires to determine the perceived quality of life and the risk factors for a deficiency.
