•Participants having tenderness of inferior region of heel and at least two of the clinical presentations given below
•1 Morning rise of pain in the plantar aspect of heel
•2 Pain in plantar aspect of heel while walking
•3 Pain in plantar aspect of heel on initial steps after a period of inactivity
•4 Positive windlass test

•Participants with gout, pes planus, pes cavus, calcaneal stress fracture, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus (FBS =126 mg/dl), Charcot foot, rheumatoid arthritis, those under any medication for plantar fasciitis, those having a BMI greater than or equal to 30, and those who have taken corticosteroid injections to the heel in the preceding 3 months, as well as pregnant and lactating mothers, are excluded.
