Brief Summary

Online PPP significantly improved the parenting sense of competence, the primary outcome, compared to the active comparator control group over time. For secondary outcomes, both groups showed significantly increased authoritative parenting at 14 weeks and decreased permissive parenting styles over time. Moreover, both groups had significantly reduced emotional problems of children at 14 weeks and overall behavioral problems over time, as reflected by total difficulties scores on the SDQ.

Inclusion Criteria

1.Parent who had a child aged between 3- 6-year-old with typical
development and without perinatal and postnatal complications.
2.Parents should not be previously diagnosed with mental health
illness has a score of parent stress scale less than 72 (seventy-two
points) and Parenting Stress Index - Short Form < 86.
3.Parent has access to a telephone, tablet, or computer.
4. Parents can access the internet and online program.
5.Child does not have any chronic medical illness (except Allergy).
6.Child does not have mental health illness (except ADHD with only 1
medical therapy).
7.Child has Total Difficulties score on Strengths and Difficulties
Questionnaire (SDQ) < 18.
8.Child has normal development as screened by Developmental
Surveillance and Promotion Manual (DSPM).

Exclusion Criteria

1.Child and/or parent have mental health or chronic illness that requires close follow-up at the hospital.
2.Child was born at gestational age < 37 weeks and/or had a birth weight of
< 2,500 grams.
3.Child has delayed development.
