Inclusion Criteria
the patients who underwent open elective liver resection and received epidural analgesia for at least 24 hours were included.
Exclusion Criteria
no records or insufficient records of pain scores,
retained endotracheal tube within 24 hours
adding postoperative epidural morphine bolus
