Inclusion Criteria
Heavy User: >5 inpatient therapies with main diagnosis alcohol dependence in the last year or >10 in the last 5 years
Controlgroup: 2-3 admissions in the last 5 years with 12 months between admissions
Both: alcohol dependency as defined in ICD-10, contact by telephone possible, permanent residence, sufficient German language skills
Exclusion Criteria
Schizophrenia or psychotic disorder; dementia; serious somatic illness which would affect the examination; acute suicidality

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method the main goal of this study is the diagnosis of psychiatric comorbidities in alcoholics, focussing on Borderline personality disorder, adult ADHD, and trauma experiences to be able to draw reliablie conclusions about prevalence rates in that patient group.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method If we find indeed find higher prevalence rates in the heavy user group, we will use the TBS answers to formulate options for treatment optimization.
