Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • ASA I , II and ASA III
  • Age group of 18\-70 years of either sex
  • BMI \<\= 30 Kg/m2
  • Scheduled for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anaesthesia

Exclusion Criteria

  • Known diabetes mellitus, Inner ear pathology, Smoker
  • Nasal disease, nasal blockage, poor sense of smell and recent URTI
  • On antiemetic, steroids and chemotherapy medications
  • History of motion sickness and previous PONV
  • Patients with any allergy or contraindication to study substances
  • Need of postoperative Ryles tube
