Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients diagnosed to have chronic periodontitis with probing depths of \>\= 5mm on two bilateral or contra lateral sites.
- •Systemically healthy
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients having systemic diseases
- •Patients who have received any topical or systemic antimicrobial treatment in the past 6 months including the use of mouthwash.
- •Patients who have had periodontal treatment in the last 6 months.
- •Pregnant and lactating mothers.
