The inclusion criterias were (1) Indonesian nationals aged 17â€79 years, (2) those who agreed to participate in the study, (3) those who visited the outpatient a community clinic and completed the questionnaires, and (4) those who had received diagnose of type 2 diabetes mellitus confirmed by the physician with 2-hours plasma glucose test results > 200 mg/dL or fasting plasma glucose > 126 mg/d
Participants who (1) had an experience of drinking alkaline electrolyzed water, (2) had Mini-Mental State Exam scores ≤ 24, (2) had limb amputation or could not walk, (3) were pregnant, (4) used antidepressants, and (5) had auditory deficiencies were excluded from the study.
