1)Adult patients ( 18-60 yrs) of both genders.
2)Patients belonging to American Society of Anesthesiologist Class 1-3.
3)Patients to undergo surgeries under general anaesthesia requiring i-gel placement.
1)Uncooperative patients
2)Patients with history of facial, cervical, pharyngeal and epiglottis surgery or trauma, or intraoral swelling interfering with i-gel placement.
3)Mouth opening less than 1.5 cms
4)Patients with anterior neck swellings like thyroid swellings
5)Patients undergoing intubation & rapid sequence intubation
6)Patients undergoing surgeries for more than 2 hrs
