The spines of 276 male college students without a history of a spine operation or spine disease were examined to detect the presence of dorso-lumbar scoliosis using the Adams test to assess the presence or absence of a spine gibbosity. Then, we performed cervico-thoraco-lumbar (CTL) scanography on 87 male college students with abnormal examination results. Fifty-eight participants with abnormal CTL scanography results were included
1. spinal surgery history
2. normal CTL(cervicothoracolumbar scanography) X-ray
3. idiopathic scoliosis
