- observational
- Study Design
- Not specified
- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The aim of this study is to compare the accuracy and effectiveness of the ICDAS II, KaVo DIAGNOdent pen and CarieScan in the diagnosis of carious lesions in the occlusal area in vivo and to differentiate the sensitivity and specificity of the methods mentioned above. The histological analysis of the cuts of teeth in a light microscope serves as the gold standard in this study.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Researching whether the method of AC Impedance Spectroscopy has higher sensitivity and specificity compared to the methods of ICDAS-II and laser fluorescence.
