Inclusion Criteria
ASA grade I and II consenting adult patients of either sex, with age ranging from 18-60 years about to undergo elective surgical procedures under GA, lasting between 1-3 hours will be recruited.
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patients with history of myocardial infarction and insufficiency, neuromuscular disorders, hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, diabetes or convulsions
2. Pregnant females
3. Patients having pre-operative oral temperature >38°C or <36°C
4. Patients with hemodynamic instability, raised intracranial or raised intraocular tension
5. Patients on anti-depressant medication, corticosteroid therapy or allergies to the study drugs
