Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\)Patients above 30 years
  • •2\)Patients of either sex
  • •3\)Patients on statins for at least one year.
  • •4\)Non diabetic patients with fasting blood glucose \<100mg/dl at the time of onset of statins.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\)Diabetic patients.
  • •2\)Patients on any concomitant medications thatmay raise blood glucose levels like fluoroquinolones, beta blockers, atypical antipsychotics, glucocorticoids, thiazide diuretics and proteasae inhibitors.
  • •3\)Pregnant and lactating women.
  • •4\)Morbid obesity i.e. BMI \>30kg/m2
