Patients who
- underwent non-extraction treatment
- had a complete dentition except for the third molars
- had fixed retainers attached to both the upper and lower anterior teeth
- achieved functional occlusion and treatment goals
Patients who
- had undergone orthognathic surgery
- presented with a high decayed, missing, filled teeth index or malformed teeth
- refused to have fixed retainers attached to the anterior teeth
- had facial asymmetry, temporomandibular joint symptoms, allergies, or a history of periodontal disease

Name Time Method Changes in lateral cephalometric measurements during T0 and T3 within and between groups using repeated measured ANOVA; comparison of RMS values of maxillary and mandibular scan data within and between groups from T0 to T3; Comparison of scores obtained from questionnaires at T1 and T3 within each group.
