- •American society of anaesthesiologists (ASA) grade 1, 2
- •Undergoing elective surgery under general anaesthesia
- •Duration of surgery greater than 60minutes and lesser than or equal to 3 hours
排除标准
- •Presenting body temperature(oral) equal to or greater than 38â?°C or below 36â?°C on arrival at preoperative hold
- •Emergency and trauma patients
- •Laparoscopic/robotic surgeries
- •Recent history fever or infection
- •Previous history of malignant hyperthermia
- •Hypo/hyperthyroid status
- •History of nasal surgery, nasal trauma and recurrent epistaxis
