Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patients within the age group of 20 – 70 years irrespective of sex.
  • •2\.Patients with signs and symptoms of MGD
  • •3\.Patients with MGD but with no other ocular pathology requiring treatment other than eye lubricant and conventional eyelid hygiene within the last month and during the study.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patients under long term medications, immunosuppressants and topical steroids.
  • •2\.Pregnant women and lactating mothers.
  • •3\.Patient of MGD with hyperkeratinisation, atrophy of glands and gland dropout.
