Inclusion Criteria
1)suffering from chronic periodontitis with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus receiving anti-diabetic therapy with HbA1c level above 6.5.
2)Subjects having minimum of 20 permanent teeth in oral cavity.
3)Subjects with no history of any systemic antibiotic administration within the previous 6 months.
4)Subjects with no history of any periodontal treatment 6 months prior to the study.
Exclusion Criteria
1)Patients with any systemic disease other than type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
2)Tobacco use in any form
3)Alcohol consumer
