Inclusion Criteria

Patients of ASA physical status III and IV with BMI >= 30 kg/m2 scheduled to undergo elective cardiac surgery with fast track extubation will be included in this trial.

Exclusion Criteria

1)Heart failure

2)Vasopressor support

3)Severe Pulmonary Hypertension

4)Preoperative atelectasis

5)Preoperative pulmonary disease including - tuberculosis, pleural effusion, restrictive lung disease, COPD , Asthma

6)Contraindication to HFNO including blocked nasal passage / choanal atresia , Trauma / surgery to nasopharynx

7)Negative consent/refusal
