Korean female patients with temporomandibular (joint) disorders, aged 20 to 65 who visited the Orofacial Pain Clinic of Seoul National University Dental Hospital
systemic diseases including musculoskeletal, neurologic, liver, kidney, autoimmune, and endocrine diseases, primary sleep disorder, active inflammatory disease of any part of the body including the orofacial region, pregnancy, pacemaker implantation, heat- or photo-sensitivity, trauma history within the recent 6 months, medication intake in the recent 3 weeks that could affect treatment results, and diagnosis of pain disorder of any non-orofacial regions within the recent 6 months
