Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Age \- 45 to 60 years
- •2\.Both men and women
- •3\.Primary or idiopathic adhesive capsulitis not associated with any injury or surgery.
- •4\.Reduction in passive external rotation greater than 50% when compared to the uninvolved shoulder or less than 30Ã?° of external rotation.
- •5\.Reduction in both active and passive range of motion and loss of greater than 25% in comparison to the uninvolved shoulder.
- •6\.Pain and restricted movement present for more than 6 months.
- •7\.Subjects who can understand and speak either English or Hindi along with Tamil will be included.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Subject with bilateral involvement
- •2\.Rheumatic disease
- •3\.Fractures or avascular necrosis on radiographs
- •4\.Surgery in the upper quadrant region prior to the study
- •5\.Subjects who are not taking any medication for pain relief.
- •6\.Any kind of sensory loss that prevent patients from receiving tactile stimuli on the shoulder
- •7\.Neurological or motor disorders having difficulty in performing task
- •8\.Visual and mental health conditions that prevents successful participation.
- •9\.Patient not willing to take part in the study.
