简要总结
A cross-sectional analytical study to examine the correlation between cardiometabolic risk and Deha Prakriti among apparently healthy individuals aged 20–30 years, with special reference to the Visceral to Subcutaneous Adipose Tissue (VAT/SAT) ratio is based on the premise that visceral fat distribution is a stronger predictor of cardiometabolic disorders than general obesity indicators like BMI, and that Ayurvedic constitutional types (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) may influence body fat distribution and disease susceptibility .A total of 120 participants will be selected and categorized into three groups (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) using a validated CCRAS Prakriti assessment proforma. Visceral and subcutaneous adipose tissue parameters will be measured through 3D-DEXA scanning, and the VAT/SAT ratio will be calculated to assess cardiometabolic risk. The study aims to identify whether specific Prakriti types are associated with higher visceral fat distribution and hence greater cardiometabolic vulnerability. The primary outcome is the correlation between Deha Prakriti and cardiometabolic risk based on VAT/SAT ratio, while secondary outcomes include associations of Prakriti with visceral fat area, mass, volume, and subcutaneous fat. Statistical analysis will involve descriptive measures, Pearson and multiple correlation tests, and ANOVA.Overall, the study intends to integrate Ayurvedic constitutional assessment with modern body composition analysis to support early identification and prevention of cardiometabolic diseases through Prakriti-based lifestyle and dietary recommendations
