- •Clinical signs of sepsis.
- •Age > 18 years
- •Informed consent available from patient or next of kin
排除标准
- •Peripheral vascular disease/ peripheral vascular intervention to lower legs (vein grafts, varicose vein surgery)
- •Pre-existing reasons for oedema or flow differences in legs
- •Previous history of deep vein thrombosis
- •Technical reasons impeding application of foot pump to leg(s) e.g. leg ulcer/wound
- •Difficulty obtaining informed consent from patient or next of kin
- •Amputations of extremities
