简要总结

Clinically there is no significant study on coriander seed for dysmenorrhea and no study on combined effect of coriander and ginger on pain and inflammation among the individuals with primary dysmenorrhea. Hence this three arm study hypothesize that there would be a significant difference on females with primary dysmenorrhea by the intervention for 12 weeks .

入选标准

  • Females aged from 17 years to 25 years
  • Females with the history of primary dysmenorrhea at least from past 1 year
  • Females with regular menstrual cycle with period varied from 21 to 35 days.

排除标准

  • Females suffering from dysmenorrhoea due to an underlying pelvic pathological condition (secondary dysmenorrhoea).
  • Females on medication for dysmenorrhoea
  • Females with oral contraceptive pills, intra uterine devices and under medication for dysmenorrhea.
  • History of abnormal uterine bleeding
  • Females with pelvic infections.
  • Females with history of psychiatric illness.
  • Females with regular use of medication for any disease.

1. Visual Analogue score

时间窗: pre intervention on first day of menstrual cycle after recruiting to the study. | post intervention on first day of menstrual cycle after completion of 12 week intervention

次要结局

  • 1. Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate(2. neutrophil - lymphocyte ratio)
