cerebral palsy children visiting Early Interventional Centre between 1 year to 5 years of Age

Exclusion Criteria

If a child with cerebral palsy is later diagnosed as an Inborn error of metabolism, the child will be withdrawn from the study

Primary Outcome Measures

Among children between 1 and 5 years of age with cerebral palsy to determine the change in z-score of weight for height after implementing a protocolized nutritional management plan over a period of one yearTimepoint: The children will be reviewed at 3 months,6 months and 9 months to assess the anthropometric measures after the nutritional plan. Final assessment will be at the end of one year.

Among children between 1 and 5 years of age with cerebral palsy to compare the mean Hemoglobin (g/dl) after implementing a protocolized nutritional management plan over a period of one year.Timepoint: The children will be reviewed at 6 months and 12 months to assess the mean hemoglobin levels after the nutritional plan;Among children between 1 and 5 years of age with cerebral palsy to determine the change in z-score of weight for age/height for age and Triceps skin fold thickness after implementing a protocolized nutritional management plan over a period of one year.Timepoint: The children will be reviewed at 3 months,6 months and 9 months to assess the anthropometric measures after the nutritional plan. Final assessment will be at the end of one year.
