Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •patients of suspected upper gastrointestinal bleeding
- •patients of normal state of consciousness and stable V/S
Exclusion Criteria
- •stricture of GI tract and nose
- •reject of NG tube and EG scan insertion
- •emergency endoscopy can not be performed as the general condition of the unstable state
- •angiography and embolization is more appropriate
- •emergency surgery is appropriate
- •pregnancy status
- •correct diagnosis is made at another hospital
- •uncontrolled hypertension
- •uncontrolled cardiac arrhythmias
