Study Overview
Brief Summary
Weakness in the abdominal muscles is common after ovarian cyst removal surgery due to the effects of the operation and reduced physical activity. Strengthening these muscles is an important part of healing, but attending therapy sessions in person can be challenging. This study aimed to find out how effective telerehabilitation is in helping patients rebuild abdominal muscle strength after ovarian cystectomy. Patients took part in a four-week online rehabilitation program with guided abdominal exercises. Their muscle strength, pain levels, movement ability, and satisfaction with the program were checked before and after the sessions. Patients showed better muscle strength, felt less pain, and moved more easily after completing the telerehabilitation program. Most patients were satisfied with the convenience of doing therapy at home, and no serious issues were reported. Telerehabilitation is a safe and effective way to support abdominal muscle recovery after ovarian cyst surgery. It offers the same benefits as traditional therapy while being more convenient and easier for patients to access from home
