- •All patients >18 years who present with STEMI and are willing to undergo primary PCI

- •Chest pain >12 hrs
- •Severe valvular heart disease
- •Fibrinolytic therapy before arrival
- •Hemodynamic instability
- •Life threatening arrhythmias
- •Cardiac arrest and resuscitated patients
- •Known LV dysfunction
- •Pregnant women
