Inclusion Criteria
All patients >18 years who present with STEMI and are willing to undergo primary PCI
Exclusion Criteria
Chest pain >12 hrs
Prior MI
Severe valvular heart disease
Fibrinolytic therapy before arrival
Hemodynamic instability
Life threatening arrhythmias
Cardiac arrest and resuscitated patients
Known LV dysfunction
Pregnant women
