Brief Summary

This study is about comparative effect of Vishmushtyadi Vati, Erandmuladi Yoga Basti and Agnikarma. Vishmushtyadi Vati, Erandmuladi Yoga Basti and Agnikarma as described in Ayurvedic classics has very effective role in management of Gridhrasi (Sciatica). This study is to assess the comparative role of Vishmushtyadi Vati, Erandmuladi Yoga Basti and Agnikarma in the management of Gridhrasi (Sciatica).

Inclusion Criteria
    1. Diagnosed cases of Gridhrasi with symptoms(either vataj or vata kaphaj) 2. SLR i.e. straight leg raising test positive 3. Patients of age group between 30 to 60 years. 4. Sex.
  • Either sex, race, caste, religion.
Exclusion Criteria
  • Known cases of uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, hypertension, tuberculosis of spine, fracture related to spine or malignancy of spine.
  • Known case of Cardiac diseases (ischemic heart disease, trauma, coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction etc.) 3.
  • Pregnancy 4.
  • Patients who have completed participation in any other clinical trial during the past 6 months.
  • Age below 30 and above 60 years 6.
  • Monoplegia, Paraplegia.
