- •Direct bilirubin levels below 2 mg / dL.
- •Age above 1 day
- •Glucose 6 phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency
- •Parent consent

- •Infection and septicemia
- •Uunderlying disease such as heart and liver disease
- •The diabetic mother
- •Rh incompatibility
