>37 weeks gestation, ASA grade 2 females posted for elective caesarean delivery.
1. American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) grade III and IV pregnant females.
2. Unwilling patients.
3. Patients with any uncontrolled systemic disorder like diabetes, hypertension, pre-eclampsia, HELLP syndrome, hepatic or renal impairment, severe airway disorder, seizure disorder or eclampsia, any cardiac diseases.
4. Patients with known hypersensitivity or allergy to either Phenylephrine.
5. Patients with any contraindication for undergoing spinal anaesthesia.

Name Time Method prevention of hypotension following spinal anaesthesiaTimepoint: blood pressure & heart rate recorded before spinal anaesthesia then every one min after spinal anaesthesia until baby is delivered then every 3 mins until end of surgery
