Inclusion Criteria
1)patients admitted in the hospital to the COVID-19 high dependency unit or intensive care unit in the age group of 18-50 years 2)patients with RT-PCR confirmed SARS CoV-2 infection taken via naso-pharyngeal swabs
Exclusion Criteria
1)patients who died within 6 hours of admission
2)patients admitted due to causes other than COVID-19
3)patients with an age less than 18 years or more than 50 years
4)patients who were pregnant
5)patients who were refused to participate in the study
