Split Skin Grafting (SSG) is a well-established surgical technique widely employed in the management of acute burns, chronic wounds, traumatic injuries, and reconstructive procedures. In this technique, a thin layer of skin typically consisting of the epidermis and a portion of the dermis is harvested from a healthy donor site and transplanted to a recipient wound bed. While the primary focus is often on the graft take at the recipient site, the management of the donor site is equally important, as it constitutes a second wound that can be a significant source of pain, infection risk, delayed healing, and scarring. To evaluate the efficacy of Collagen sheet dressings versus Conventional Dressings on donor site in cases of Split Skin Grafting.

入选标准

  • All patients above.
  • 18 years of age undergoing Split Skin Grafting.
  • Patients willing to give written and informed consent and comply with follow-up schedule.

排除标准

  • Patients with Uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus, Immunocompromised states, or Collagen Vascular diseases.
  • Patients with a known allergy to collagen or collagen-based products.
  • Patients lost to follow-up or unwillingness to participate fully in the study.
