Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade I and II
  • Age \>18 years
  • Single gestation
  • Parturient requiring cesarean delivery for \-fetal tachycardia 161\-180 bpm ,fetal bradycardia 100\-109 bpm, variability (bpm) \< 5 for 40â??90 minutes, decelerations Typical variable decelerations Single prolonged deceleration for up to 3 minutes and Accelerations with the absence of accelerations with otherwise normal trace

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patient refusal
  • Fetal causes\-Prematurity, any known fetal abnormality
  • Any contraindication to regional anesthesia
  • Body mass index \>45 kg/M2
  • Parturient requiring cesarean delivery with indication of immediate threat to life of women or fetus with no time for placement of spinal anesthesia.
  • Vasospastic arterial disease, previous arterial injury
  • Thrombocytosis
