1.Pregnant women registered at 34 weeks to 36 weeks of pregnancy and till 6 weeks after delivery
2.Singletons
3.Ethnicity South India
4.Full-term deliveries from day 1 to day 15 and till 1 year
Exclusion Criteria

1.Mothers with thyroid disorders
2.Drugs for cardiac diseases/Iodine ointments
3.Preterm deliveries
4.Congenital anomalies
5.Ethnicity other than South India
6.Multiple gestations
