- •- Adult patients (*18 years) with suspected endocarditis, admitted in one of the participating hospitals
- •- Written informed consent is obtained
排除标准
- •- Failure to obtain written informed consent to participate
- •- Endocarditis caused by Coxiella burnettii (Q-fever)
- •- An Hb below 5.0 mmol/L
- •- Death before first sample is obtained
