Brief Summary

This study is a randomized clinical trial where Immediate Effects of soft tissue mobilization along with relaxation technique will be experimented in chess players who will be screened under the online Sports Competition Anxiety Test (SCAT) Questionnaire with high anxiety and will be randomized into 3 groups. Group A will be manipulated with multomidal technique of soft tissue manipulation (Myofascial Release) & Relaxation technique (breathing exercise), Group B will be manipulated with only Relaxation technique (breathing exercise) and Group C with pure control group. The primary outcome meaures are Competetive State Anxiety Inventory- 2 Revised Questionnaire (CSAI 2R), Blood pressure with manual mercury spygmomanometer will be assessed prior to the game and Max Heart Rate will be monitored by Fitness tracker throughout the game in each rounds. First round of game will have no interventions with all the primary outcome measured, prior to the second round of game play players randomized into each respective groups will undergo their own following interventions/no intervention. Repeating the same of collecing the primary outcomes prior to round II game play. So the comparision will be with round one and round two which will be Pre and Post Outcomes. This study mainly aims to check the immediate effects of soft tissue along with Relaxation technique as players with chess are supposed to have State Anxiety which is immediate responce to situations and has a devastating performance in game.
