入选标准
- •American society of Anaesthesiology (ASA) physical status I and II underweight pediatric patients, age 05-15 years scheduled for elective surgery, in whom a supraglottic airway is indicated for general anaesthesia. An underweight pediatric patient will be estimated according to standardized tables and growth charts as per IAP 2015 guidelines
排除标准
- •Parents/guardians who do not give consent to participate in the study
- •Patient at risk of pulmonary aspiration
- •Inadequate fasting
- •History of recent airway infection
- •Patients who are to be operated in prone position
- •Anticipated difficult airway
