Inclusion Criteria
1.ASA grade I and II
2.Non hypertensive
3.Non obese
4.MPC I and II
5.Surgeries lasting for at least upto 2 hours and not beyond 4 hours
6.Elective surgeries
Exclusion Criteria
1.Refused to participate in study
2.Patients with nasogastric tube
3.Contraindication to use of nitrous oxide
4.MPC III and IV
5.Hypertensive patients
6.Asa III and more
7.Short surgeries( duration less than 2 hours)
8.Day care surgeries
9.Emergency surgeries
10.Neck surgeries involving handling of airway

Name Time Method Monitor changes in endotracheal tube cuff pressure changes with use of nitrous oxide at 0minutes, at 5 minutes, 10 minutes , 15 minutes , 30 minutes till 240 minutes <br/ ><br>Monitor the changes in cuff pressure in air at 0 minutes,5 minutes,10 minutes,15 minutes, 30 minutes till 240 minutes.Timepoint: Outcomes assessed by 8 weeks.
