入选标准
- •The subjects were required to
- •1. Have at least 4 permanent teeth with periodontal pocket depth greater than 4 mm along with radiographic alveolar bone destruction
- •2. Have full mouth plaque score more than 40 percent
- •3. Exhibit bleeding on probing more than 30 percent
- •4. Be in the age range of 20 to 70 years
- •5. Provide informed consent
排除标准
- •The participants who
- •1. Had been diagnosed as dental plaque induced gingivitis or nonplaque induced gingival lesions
- •2. Had nonsurgical periodontal treatment in the preceding 12 months,
- •3. Had orthodontic treatment within 12 weeks
- •4. Had periodontal surgery in the preceding 12 weeks
- •5. Had ongoing treatment with antimicrobials and/or anti-inflammatory medication
- •6. Had been pregnancy or lactation
- •7. Had been smoking or alcohol abuse
- •8. Had a history of an allergic reaction to the toothpastes
