Stroke in young adults is an important but often under-recognised public health concern, carrying significant socio-economic implications due to its occurrence during the most productive years of life. This study will be conducted to evaluate the clinical profile, risk factors, etiological subtypes, and in-hospital outcomes of stroke in young adults aged 18–49 years, presenting to a tertiary care teaching hospital in New Delhi.

•Young patients of Stroke Patients who/whose attendants give written informed consent(if patient is in altered sensorium).

排除标准

•Stroke due to trauma (Head Injury).

主要结局

Proportion of different types of strokes in young Adults

时间窗: At presentation and at 4 weeks

次要结局

Proportion of Patients with traditional risk factors of stroke like hypertension, type 2 diabetes mellitus, smoking, alcohol consumption, dyslipidemia(At presentation & at 4 weeks)
