24 Weeks to 36 Weeks (—)

Inclusion Criteria

  • Preterm infants with gestational age under 37 weeks (ages are mesured as gestational age, not post-natal age).
  • No need for artificial ventilation
  • Absence of congenital anomalies
  • No feeding of infant for half an hour before the massage.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Infants who were discharged from the hospital until within the tenth days of the study or were critically ill newborn whom received severe invasive procedures within tenth days of intervention or their mothers did not completely adhere to the study protocol were excluded from the study.
